The media industry is regulated and the products it creates are subject to certification to make sure they are only viewed by people of an appropriate age.

The key things to know here are:
- the two regulatory bodies – Ofcom and the ASA
- the two certifcation bodies – the BBFC and PEGI
Make sure you know what each one stands for and what they do.
