Out and About Project
Costs Spreadsheet:
The group of visiting foreign students will go on three day trips during their stay. Two of these trips have already been decided. They are:
- The Science Museum, London
- Colchester Zoo, Essex
You have the choice of where the students will go for their third trip. Use the results from your Database Query to make a choice.
A budget of £25 is allowed for each student. You need to use a spreadsheet to calculate the costs of the trip to see if they are within budget.
> Use the spreadsheet as a starting point. It will need to be completed.
- add the details of your new trip
- add formulae to work out the total costs for each trip along with the cost per student
- work out the cost of all three trips combined
- produce a message to show if the three trips combined are over or under budget
- format the spreadsheet so that it is fit for purpose
> The task sheet will help you to work through this task in a structured way
> Once you have a finished spreadsheet make sure you complete the Spreadsheet Project Review document
