Out and About Project

Welcome Poster:

You have been asked to produce a series of Digital Posters to use at the reception to welcome the French students.

The posters will run on a big screen. They will welcome the students and introduce them to the local area.

The series must:

• consist of four posters
• include information in simple English
• loop continuously
• welcome the students to the area

Each poster must:

• include a least one image
• include the two emblems
• display for an appropriate length of time

> Look at an example of a welcome poster designed for younger children

Think about what sorts of things you would want to know about an area you were going to visit on a school trip.

> Plan your posters carefully using a storyboard

> The task sheet will help you to work through this task in a structured way

> Once you have a finished set of posters make sure you complete the Digital Poster Project Review document
